cause it's all in my head, I think about it over and over again

I don't normally like to use photos on here that I have on other sites, but I will...just this once.

Today I did a group presentation (worth 60% I might add) and while presenting the teacher asked me to speak up. 'lawl' I thought that I was speaking pretty loud at the time so it caught me off guard.

My reaction, a nervous smile and then 'Oh..sorry' and then my pitiful attempt to speak up.

Naturally I have a very quiet voice. To go further into technicality I believe my voice is always quiet because I have such sensitive hearing that when I hear myself speak I feel like it is really loud and thus my voice is always quiet.

So when I was presenting I could hear my voice bouncing back at me from the walls at the end of the class and it was kinda weird. 

Either way I got it done.

Later I went to pizza hut, Pet Smart(to look at fish and kitties) and Chapters with my dearest boyfriend. It was pretty fun ^_^

After I got home I watched Space jam (such a good loony toons movie) with the roomie and some friends.

Tomorrow I am goin' on a field trip.

Downside, it will be cold and I have to catch the bus at 6am to get there for 7;15am.

Upside; I have never been there so it shall be fun..right?

So I started to write a random poem for this blog... but I am not doing so good in the writing aspect lately.

I did write a few awesome poems once. They were really abstract and such. Anywho.

I haven't blogged in a while but I mean I just have nothing cool to talk about. I could talk about some fun bands I've been listening to lately but that's about it. haha but most people aren't into the music I am >_<;

I've had a great first week back to school. I'm incredibly excited to learn about studio lighting.

As a side note I have learned that some people don't take you seriously when they should and then there are some who always take you seriously when they really shouldn't.

I spy for the FBI

Today is friday. New Years Eve apparently. Last year I had a blast with a bunch of friends. We played soccer in the snow in a parking lot for three hours straight. It was super fun, but this year I'm takin it easy. Maybe play some board games, eat lots of food and enjoy a nice childhood disney movie.

Winter break is almost over. 

-tear tear-

I haven't been taking as many photos as I had planned. I've been sick for most of the break. It wasn't very fun, but I'd much rather be sick on break than during school. I'm not really a fan of sitting in a class feeling whoozy. 

This is a picture of Miles and myself. Taken using a timer, of course.

I'm getting new glasses tomorrow, I be downsizing. I currently have huge thick rimmed glasses and soon it will look like those glasses have a 'mini-me'. Perhaps I will post pictures of them both together on my next blog.

a thought for today

It is the third day of snow. I haven't had school since friday. The school was closed monday, tuesday and wednesday. It is finally opening back up tomorrow -weather permitting. 

I can't believe they shut the busses down to plow Do it look like it needs to be plowed? Nope. It was the nicest day ever. It was wonderful to get out of the house...even if it were for just a walk down the streets( with some photog friends). We then all had coffee/hot chocolate, doughnuts, wings, pizza, garlic bread and pop. SO GOOD !

So anyways a thought I had today...

You know those movies and cartoons and story books where someone falls from a great height and someone always catches them- being all heroic and such? Well I got thinking, if someone fell from that high up, wouldn't you be scared to catch them? I mean you could break your arms or pull some serious muscles. Think about the impact. You are holding out your arms, no weight, just air, and then suddenly all this weight falls into your arms. It would be like someone throwing a bar bell at you. I would fall over and my arms would fall off if that happened.

So the next question is...if this ever happened for real...what would you do to save the person from possible death?
